Clanwilliam is a small town that forms part of the Cederberg Municipality. Expect spectacular views and an endless choice of hiking routes and other outdoor activities.

- The Cederberg area is the only place in the world where rooibos tea is grown. Arrange a tour at the rooibos factory to learn more about the process it goes through, or enjoy a tea-tasting at the House of Rooibos.
- Take a scenic drive through the Cederberg Wilderness to Cederberg Winery and enjoy a tasting with spectacular views.
- Head out over the rocky Pakhuis Pass towards Traveller’s Rest, and do the Sevilla Rock Art Trail. This trail has 9 different spots with San rock art paintings. Afterwards enjoy a meal at the restaurant.
- Thanks to the Cederberg mountains around the town of Clanwilliam, you are spoiled with choice when it comes to hiking. Lace up your boots and take on a trail or two. There is a Cape Nature office at Algeria in the Cederberg where you can buy a permit and receive a map.
- Proclaimed as a World Heritage Site, The Rocklands is a world-famous spot for bouldering. Bouldering season is from 30 April to 01 October every year.
- Pack a picnic and head on out to the Clanwilliam dam for a day of swimming.
- Eat out at one of the town’s restaurants: Veldskoendraai Farm Stall, Bella-Louise Restaurant and De Kelder.
